Spread Wings

This is a Canadian Goose drying off it's wings after a swim in Lake Wingra, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Sleeping Ducks

These ducks are sleeping. Look closely at their eyes, they are open, but seem to be covered with some type of layer, or they are rolled back a bit.

Frosty Morning

This was a frosty morning in January 2005. It was a beautiful, crisp morning here in Madison, Wisconsin. The photo was taken by Lussier Farms Heritage Center.

Northern Lights Azaleas

These are called Northern Lights Azalea's and they bloom around Mother's Day in the Midwest. They are perennials.

Mourning Dove

This is another Mourning Dove outside of my Dad's place, although this one look's like an adult.

Farm Scene

Clouds passing over a farm in Black Earth, Wisconsin.

Fluffy Clouds

We were hoping to chase a storm, but all we found were fluffy clouds rolling by. Oh well, maybe next time.

Foggy Morning

Fog rolling through.

Storm Moving Through

Storm moving over Lake Mendota, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Sunset Clouds

Beautiful pinks, blues and lavender in the clouds. I was just going for an evening drive and ran into this scene!

Look at this squirrel playing around. I was able to get right under it.

Sunlight through the Tree's

Another photo at Point Beach State Park. Beautiful day for site seeing.

Point Beach State Park

This lighthouse is at Point Beach State Park, along Lake Michigan, in Wisconsin. Another awesome place to visit in Wisconsin.

Pewitt's Nest in Summer

This was taken during mid summer 2005. It seems to be greener, but the water is extremely low due to the current drought.

Pewitt's Nest

Another photo of Pewitt's Nest, also showing the waterfall. This was in early spring before the buds started to open on the tree's.

Pewitt's Nest State Natural Area

This is a waterfall at Pewitt's Nest State Natural Area, near Baraboo, Wisconsin. It is not far off the beaten path and is only about a 1/4 mile walk from parking. It is a beautiful area to visit.

IIf you look closely, you will see some of the dandelion sticking out of his mouth! These little ones were so cute, and their parents didn't seem to mind I was there as long as I didn't move to quickly.

I believe this is a White Crane, but not 100% sure. This photo was taken at Horicon Marsh in Wisconsin.

Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge

This photo was taken in the fall of 2004, at Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. What a beautiful place. I had never imagined a marsh could be so breath taking.

Harrington Beach State Park

This picture was taken just after sunrise at Harrington Beach State Park. It is located along Lake Michigan, near Belgium, Wisconsin. Photo taken in the fall of 2004.

Blue Heron

This Blue Heron is out every day during the warmer season, and it happened to be extra beautiful when I took this picture.

This picture is taken at a Marsh in Wisconsin.

Reflection of the Sunrise

This was a beautiful sunrise morning, and what an awesome reflection. God sure creates wonderful scenes for us each day.

Sunrise in Early Spring

If you look closely at the trees, you can see the buds that will be in bloom soon. This photo was taken in early spring of last year, but it is one of my favorites.

My Sweet Pumpkin

This is my cute cat Pumpkin. I increased the brightness on this picture to the point of drowning out the ugly background, and I liked the way it looked.

Hens and Chicks

These are hens and chicks, which grow close to the ground. They are pretty hardy plants and squirrels like to play with them.

These are Begonia's, which are annuals.

Yellow Tulips

Are these breathtaking, or what? This photo was taken at a place that I used to work. They always have beautiful gardens during spring, summer and fall.

Shasta Daisies

These Shasta Daisies have taken over my Mom's gardens. They are beautiful swaying in the sunlight. I took this photo with a Fisheye Lens.

Blue Flower

I am not sure what this perennial is called, but I love it. Each morning the flowers are open and in the afternoon the petals fall off. Then the next morning there are all new petals again. This happens over and over during the spring and summer season. What a life, start each new day over.

Pink Poppy

This is a pink poppy in my Mom's yard. She has beautiful flowers all over her yard, only perennials though. Alot of her flowers will end up on this page. She has many different kinds of perennials to show. Enjoy!

Whispy Clouds and Rainbow Colors

Check out the rainbow colors within the whispy clouds! I just love this scene. I was just out and about one day and noticed this display.

White Water Lily

This is a beautiful white and pink waterlily at a local garden. I love to go to this place and take lots of pretty pictures.

Mourning Dove

This is a baby Mourning Dove. It was in a nest in my Dad's tree in his front yard. I was able to get this picture by holding my camera up in the air as high as I could reach and just aiming it in that direction. Not bad, huh? I thought he was cute and couldn't pass up the photo op.

I met this beauty at a Rest Stop in Minnesota. She seemed to be a little shy and didn't feel like spreading her wings for me. Oh well, maybe the next time we meet..... Some just don't seem to know what beauty they have to offer.

Spike Visits for the Summer

Spike is a spider that visits us each summer, or at least someone in his family visits. They build their web on our balcony, waiting for their dinner to be delivered. Spike is fairly friendly and will let you get pretty close, without moving at all. I have had my camera actually touch the web, but that is the only time he has moved a little. Maybe he likes getting his picture taken? He is cute, isn't he? He keeps a pretty clean house, as a matter of fact, he dusts his web every day. We have thought about inviting him into our apartment, as we can't seem to keep ours dusted everyday, but I'm afraid he will want to sleep in my room and I am not open to that at this time.

Rolling Cloud Breaking Up

The cloud in the upper right of this photo is the same rolling cloud below after it started to break up. There were some awesome cloud formations that day. I should mention that you should not go storm chasing, unless you have had the proper training, which you can find on the 'National Weather Service website: .

Rolling Cloud

This is a rolling cloud. This storm produced tornadoes, but not where we were at during the chase. This was the first time we had gone storm chasing and it was a lot of fun. We ended up driving over 60 miles away from home before it was dark and we then decided to turn around, since we couldn't see it and didn't think it would be safe to continue to follow it.
